Charles W. Queen

Charles W. Queen 74 of Bartow passed away from respiratory failure on December 7, 2009 at his residence. A native of North Carolina he move to Bartow from Maysville, Kentucky in 1974. He was a phosphate mine worker and retired from the Mosaic Clear Springs Mine with 20 plus years of service. He was was preceded death by his wife Vondia Queen and is survived by two sons; Wesley Queen and wife Nora; Christopher Queen and wife Barbie both of Bartow; one granddaughter Alexis Queen of Bartow and one sister Sharon Queen of North Carolina. A visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow and interment will follow at the Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
