Charles A. "Bud" Mann

Charles A. "Bud" Mann, Jr., age 87, passed away from heart failure Wednesday June 20, 2012. Mr. Mann was born on November 9, 1924 in Tiger Bay, Florida. He was a member of the Bartow First Baptist Church and Peace River Country Club. Mr. Mann retired from the Florida Department of Agriculture where worked as an inspector. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Mann, son Tim Pitts, daughter Glennis Pitts, and brother Claude Mann. Mr. Mann is survived by his grandchildren; Denise L. Daly of Knoxville, TN, Kimberlie Riggs of Lakeland, Michelle Marcantoni of New Port Richey, nephew Terry Mann of Lake Wales, Claudia McKenzie of Fort Meade, and Patsy Elrod of Frostproof. He also leaves behind six great grandchildren; Courtney, Stewart, Cody, Caitlin, Hannah, and Hallie. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 23rd at the Bartow First Baptist Church from 10AM-11AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM at the church.
