Hendrick.
Charles was born in Bartow, Florida, on July 8, 1953, attended Fort Meade High School and spent most of his life in Fort Meade, Florida. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at 9 years old. He loved God throughout his life and memorized much of the Bible. He worked in construction for a number of years and later in metal salvage, and contributed his time and energies in helping others. His heart particularly resonated with helping the poor and needy. As a part of his daily life, Charles visited and assisted the widows and the elderly, and actively supported multiple charitable organizations.
Charles had a compelling love for God's Word and took every possible opportunity to share God's love with those he met, even in his last days, witnessing to staff and visitors in the hospital. Charles told everyone who would listen that God loves them and closed every conversation and parting with "God Bless You." Above all, Charles wanted everyone to know the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
