Charles C. Etter

Charles C. "Spark" Etter, age 84, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Ocala. Born on Sept. 28, 1930 in Wetzel, OH, he was the son of the late Carl and Evelyn Elizabeth Etter. Mr. Etter was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for many years as the owner and operator of his own trucking company. He was also a life member of the American Legion in Continental, OH. Mr. Etter is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Etter. He is survived by his children: Karla Etter of Orlando, Kirk Etter (Disa) of Bartow, Julie Simpson (Hank) of McKinney, TX, his longtime companion and significant other Bernice Brocklesby of Silver Springs, his sister Marlene Homier of Continental, OH and his grandchildren: Jenna Godwin, Lindsay Etter, Alec Simpson, and Olivia Simpson. Graveside services will be held Sat., April 11, 2015 at 11:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. Following the services a reception for family and friends will be held a the residence of Carolyn and Bill Simpson at 825 Square Lake Drive in Bartow.
