Charles F. Davis

Charles F. Davis 79 died of heart failure Oct. 11, 2008 at his residence in Highland City. A native of Avenel, NJ he moved to the area in 1973 from Chicopee, Mass. Mr. Davis served in the Korean War and retired from the Airforce after 20 years. He then worked in the Packaging industry as an Electrical Engineer. Charles was also a member of the Shriners organization. He is survived by his companion Dot Rushing of Lakeland; four sons and a daughter Charles B. (Cheryl) Davis of Grants Pass, OR; John O. Davis of Breese, IL; Larry P. (Linda) Davis of Trenton, IL and Mark E. (Terry) Davis of Troy, IL; Celia H. (Tom) Kannall of Breese, IL and nine grandchildren.
