Charles E. Becker

Mr. Charles E. "Charlie" Becker passed away from Alzheimer's Disease, Saturday, June 2, 2007 in Lake Wales. He was 79. Born in Miami on January 26, 1928, Mr. Becker lived most of his live in Miami before recently moving to Lake Wales. Mr. Becker worked for Ryder Trucks as a mechanic and was Episcopalian. Mr. Becker is survived by his wife of 59 years, Yvonne and four daughters; Connie Lauer (David) of Lake Wales, Debbie Zalewski (John) also of Lake Wales, Ellen Burdett (Mike) of Jacksonville, and Carolyn Houghton (Steve) of Miami. He is also survived by his brothers; Richard Lee Becker and Ronald Becker both of Floral City a sister; Ada DeGraff , six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Becker will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
