Chalmus Eugene "Gene" Little

Tampa - Chalmus Eugene "Gene" Little, age 95, passed away May 1, 2024, at Savannah Cottages in Lakeland. He was born on October 27, 1928, in Ocilla, GA. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved his dogs. He was preceded in death by his son Gary Little, brothers Frank Little, Robert Little, Harold Little & Jack Little, sisters Alma Keller & Verna Faye Gassett and Mother Eva Little. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 69 years Ruth Little of Bartow, daughter Julie Rentz (Michael) of Tampa, son Michael Little (Sherri) of Bartow, grandchildren Kevin Rentz (Erin) of Tampa, Susan Rentz of Tampa, Nathan Little of Bartow and Ella Little of Bartow. Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at United Community Church , Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at United Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VITAS Hospice.
