Bartow - Celeste Barnett Lyle, age 98, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born May 1, 1922 in Kinston, NC to Charles & Rose Barnett. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Bartow First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Lyle and son Charles "Ched" Edward Brooks. She is survived by her sons David Lyle and Clinton Lyle & wife Donna, daughter Amy Sanz & husband Troy, eight grandchildren Charles David Lyle, April Lyle Grimsby, Shelley Sanz Taylor, Melissa Sanz Stinson, Aubrey Rose Sanz, Jennifer Nichole Kersey, Megan Renee Skipper and Christa Estelle Lyle and eighteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Whidden McLean Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
