Cecil "Bud" Jackson

Alturas - Cecil "Bud" Jackson, 81, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at his residence. Born September 4, 1937 in Geneva County, AL, Mr. Jackson was a resident of Bartow since 1948, moving from Lowery, AL. He was a Chief Lineman for the Bartow Municipal Airport for many years. He is survived by 3 sons: Son - Cecil Jackson, wife Nelda, Lakeland; Curtis Jackson, Anderson, S.C & Kyle Jackson, wife Alora, Alturas; a brother: Royce Jackson, Bartow; 2 sisters: Jeanette Duke & Merlene Griner, husband Troy, both of Bartow; 5 grandchildren: Hunter, Ashton, Hazel, Terri & Tammy; 5 great grandchildern & 3 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
