Cathy Hatch

Catherine "Cathy" Hatch, age 64, went home to her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born November 27, 1957 in Columbus, MS to Charles & Catherine Haynes. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bartow. Cathy served as the Executive Director for Homeless Coalition of Polk County, Inc. and the National Alliance of Mental Illness, She also worked for the Peace River Center as their grant writer for 6 years and she was a Senior Planner for Polk County Indigent Health Care for 6 years. She is survived by her husband of 47 years James "Jim" Hatch of Bartow, daughter Sarah Clayton & husband Kiah, two sons Gabe Hatch & wife Sierra and James Hatch & wife Sara, brother Chuck Haynes & Gi Gi, eight grandchildren Stella, Eli, Ella Cate, Madison, Cullen, Mason-Michael, Mackenzie and Meredith. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 355 S. Florida Avenue in Bartow, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Bartow, FL.
