Catharine Anne Carson

Catharine Anne Carson passed away suddenly on September 6, 2022, in Bartow, Florida. Cathy was born November 21, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She spent her formative years in the Midwest. It was while she was in Illinois that she first met Paula Bryant Siepieranski and her brother, Gene Bryant. When Cathy relocated to Florida from Indiana in 2019, she was reconnected with Paula, her best friend, and with Gene, the love of her life. She enjoyed observing and learning about all of the birds, plants, and animals of her adopted home state, and she loved spending time and holidays with the families of Gene and Paula, who welcomed her with open arms. Cathy worked for many years in various capacities as an archeologist. She most recently served as a customer service representative for Citrus Connection. Her hobbies included geology, archeology, genealogy, baking, and fishing and bowling with Gene. Cathy is survived by her daughter Michelle Carson of Texas; her mother Beverly Carson of Bloomington, IN; her brother Bill Carson and his wife Fiona of Vancouver, WA; her sister Jenny Goeglein and her husband Timothy of Alexandria, VA; and her nephews Tim and Paul Goeglein.
