Carrie Beatrice Smith

Carrie Beatrice Smith, age 79, of Bartow, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Winter Haven Hospital of heart failure. Born May 27, 1931 in Robertsdale, AL, Mrs. Smith has been a longtime resident of Bartow, moving from Alabama. Mrs. Smith was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church of Bartow where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband: Lester H. Smith & son: Tommy Smith. She is survived by her daughter: Bonnie McLin & husband Gary & son: Ronald Smith all of Bartow; 2 brothers: Clifford Denham of Pensicola, FL & Robert Denham of Bartow; sister: Shirley Holder of Homeland; several neices & nephews. Family will receive friends Monday December 20, 2010, 10-11 am at Wildwood Baptist Church, 1120 S. Woodlawn Ave. Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the Church. Interment will be at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church, 1120 S. Woodlawn Ave, Bartow, 33830
