Carolyn Runnels

Bartow- Carolyn Runnels, age 90, passed away August 18, 2022, at Lakeland Regional Health. She was born on August 10, 1932, in Colquitt, GA. She was a resident of Bartow since 1952. She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, church, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Runnels and brother Lester Heard. She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Lamar Runnels, Jr. of Lakeland, daughters Linda Green of GA & Vicky Napier (Danny) of WV, sister Esther Sheffield of AL, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Turning Point Worship Center, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Turning Point Worship Center. Interment will be held at Colquitt City Cemetery, Colquitt.
