Lakeland - Carolyn F. Boatwright, age 81, passed away March 27, 2024, at her residence in Lakeland. She was born on August 29, 1942, in Highland City, FL. She was a Lunch Lady for the Polk County School Board. She was a member of Revive Church Lakeland . She enjoyed reading her bible and doing crosswords. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Boatwright and siblings Joann, Ginger, Jackie, Gail, and Linda. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children Cynthia "Cindy" Mahon (Tim), Charles "Tony" Boatwright & Leon Keith Boatwright (Casey), grandchildren Amanda Morrow (Michael), Morgan Reid (Tyler), Logan Mahon (Brittney) & Leon Christopher Boatwright (Lauren), great grandchildren Landon, Caden, Ariel, Oliva, Leah, Gweny, Scarlett, Cadhla & Blakely, siblings Judy, Louise, David and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday, April 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Revive Church Lakeland, Lakeland. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Revive Church Lakeland. Interment will be held at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Lakeland.
