Mrs. Caroline Lou McDonald-Wood, age 60, of Fort Meade, FL, died Thursday, August 7, 2008, at Florida Hospital in Sebring, FL. She was born October 5, 1947 in Orlando, FL. Lou was a Cosmetic sales women She was a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late Walter McDonald and her brother Tommy McDonald. She is survived by her husband Allen E. Wood, Jr.of Fort Meade, FL. Her Mother Norma M. McDonald of Fort Meade. Two Sisters-Jane Farrer and Husband Danny of Sebring, FL and Jean McDonald of Fort Meade, FL One Brother-Warren McDonald and Wife Sharon of Winter Haven, FL Step Son-Phillip A. Wood and Wife Darla of Live Oak, FL Niece-Stephanie Farrer of Sebring, Nephews-Greg & Jeff McDonald of Lakeland. Stepgranddaughters Shannon and Ashley Wood of Live Oak and Great Nephew Nathan Farrer of Sebring. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, August 11, 2008. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Contributions can be made to the American cancer society or Diabetes research.
