Carole Munro Franklin

Carole Munro Franklin 73 passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 in Bartow. Born in Chicago, Illinois on February 22, 1938 she moved to Florida in 1964. Carole was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband Rhett Franklin and a son Michael Franklin. Carole is survived by three daughters Susie Leggett and husband Dale of Brewton, AL. Beth Palmer and husband Reggie of Bartow and Rose Dollar and husband Kirby of Smiths, AL. Two sons Johnny Franklin and wife Mildred of Brewton, AL and Randy Franklin and wife Stephanie of Bartow. One sister Nancy Glisson of TN. Three brothers John Munro, Don Munro and Patrick Munro all of Illinois. Thirty six grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 6th from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with services starting at 11am.
