C. Bailey "Buddy" Hamlin

Tampa - C. Bailey "Buddy" Hamlin, age 87, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Tampa. Born on March 25, 1934 in Sebring, FL, he was the son of the late Raymond Reed Hamlin, Sr. and Minnie Lee (Bailey) Hamlin. Mr. Hamlin was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a Pressman for Rose Printing Co. in Tallahassee and Hillsborough Printing in Tampa for many years. Mr. Hamlin was a member of the Masonic Lodge #114 in Brandon and was a Past District Deputy Grand Master. He also was a member of the York Rite, the Scottish Rite, a Shriner and a member of the Highlander Bagpipe Group. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Jackie Hamlin, two children: Jenna Johnson, Mark Hamlin and his wife Jeanne, two grandchildren: Eric Johnson, and Rachel Johnson. he also leaves behind two sisters: Eloise Wicker, Margaret Pettigrew and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 4th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.
