Bueford C. Bryant

Mr. Bueford C. Bryant, age 74, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 from cancer. Mr. Bryant was born January, 10, 1936 in Cairo, Georgia. Mr. Bryant was a Tech. Sergeant working as a Communications Specialist in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. He also retired after 15 years of service to Polk County where he worked as an Ambulance Dispatcher. Mr. Bryant was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 43 years, Mary Bryant. two daughters; Joan Presley of Albany, GA, Sybil Balamucki (Randy) of Detroit, MI, three sons; Ronald Bryant (Marsha) of Leesburg, GA, Gerry Bryant, Sr. (Diane) of Thomasville, GA, and Robert Bryant (Jody) of Bartow. He also leaves behind sisters; Bettie Schie of Thomasville, GA, Nell Boyette of Cairo, GA, brothers; Olan Bryant of Crestview, FL, Bobby Bryant of Tifton, GA, 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, April 14th from 2-3pm. Services will follow immediately at 3:00pm.
