Bruce Alvin Johnson

Mr. Bruce Alvin Johnson of Tampa, passed away from heart failure Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Tampa. He was 78. Born September 28, 1928 in Chatham County , NC, he was the son of the late Wade and Annie Johnson. Mr. Johnson was the former owner and operator of Johnson Pool Company in Lakeland. Mr. Johnson is also preceded in death by a son, Wade Johnson and is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 25 years, Beth Johnson, a daughter, Lisa Parrish of Orlando, two step sons; Michael Ivey of Invergrove Heights, MN, Joel Smith of Atlanta, GA, three brothers; Hugh Johnson and Don Johnson both of Siler City, NC and Warren Johnson of Greensboro, NC, a step brother, Bill Howell of Burlington, NC, three sisters; Doris Ellington of Siler City, Linda Sapp of Bear Creek, NC, and Kathryn Frazier of Liberty, NC. He is also survived by one special surrogate granddaughter, Jasmine Boyer. Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from 10 AM to 11 AM at McLean Funeral Home 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade.
