Lakeland - Bruce R. Card, age 86, passed away on January 13, 2025, at Hawthorne Inn in Lakeland. He was born on September 19, 1938, in Harlan, KY. He worked in Phosphate Maintenance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Betty Card of Lakeland, sons James Card (Bonnie) of Bartow & Stephen Card (Pam) of Winter Haven, grandchildren Lindsey Powers (Cory) of Winter Haven, Bradley Card (Bayli) of Winter Haven & Megan Baldwin (Daniel) of Winter Haven and 11 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, January 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Village Church of God 6 Coleman Road, Winter Haven, FL 33880 . Interment will be held at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale.
