Bridgit Lynett Hunt, 51, of Polk City, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025. She was born on December 14, 1973, in Wauchula, Florida. Bridgit dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a Registered Nurse. She was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Smith. Bridgit is lovingly remembered by her husband, David Hunt; three sons, Trey Gunter, Kaden Hipple, and Kobe Hipple; two step-sons, Alex Hipple and Sean Hunt; her mother, Debra Geohagen; father, Joe Aycock; step-fathers, Don Smith and wife Tammie, and Keith Johnson; sisters, Lori Albritton and husband Larry, Amanda Hendricks and husband Sean; four brothers, Kyle Corson, Shane Smith and wife Whitney, Marcello Aycock, and Blake Aycock; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, Florida. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Gandy Cemetery in Connersville, Florida. The family welcomes condolences and fond memories to be shared in honor of Bridgit’s life.
