Brenda Jane Taguri

Brenda Jane Taguri, age 61, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in Gainesville, FL. Brenda was born in Seymour, IN on February 1, 1955 and graduated from Purdue University. She moved to Bartow 21 years ago and worked for the Polk County School Board as a Demographic and Planning Coordinator. Brenda is preceded in death by her mother Norma (Snyder) Hackman. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Abdu Taguri of 37 years, children; Mohamed Taguri, Leila Taguri, father; Marvin Hackman, siblings; Gary Hackman (Cathy), Pamela Cunningham (Ron), daughter in law; Jaimee Taguri, son in law; Scott Modetz, and grandchildren; Taigur Taguri, Taicen Taguri, and Zuri Mae Taguri-Modetz. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 12th from 3pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Services will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 4413 S. State Road 135 in Vallonia, IN. on Wednesday, June15th at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the church from 10am to 11am. Interment services will be private.
