Brenda K. Lacy

Bartow- Brenda K. Lacy, age 69, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Bartow. Born November 5, 1951 in Battle Creek, MI, she was the daughter of the late Benny Sivits and Nancy (Hall) Sivits. Brenda worked as a bartender for many years in the hospitality industry. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael L. Ellis. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter, Tammy Ellis of Bartow, her brothers: Richard "Dick" Sivits (Louise) of Battle Creek, MI and Donald "Don" Sivits (June) of Texas, She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Joshua Ellis (Emily) of Mulberry, Jacob Ellis (Gabrielle) also of Mulberry and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 4pm on Friday, October 15th at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A memorial service will commence at 4:00pm at the funeral home.
