Bonnie J. Davidson

Mrs. Bonnie J. Davidson, age 82, passed away from cancer, Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Bartow. Born October 8, 1926 in Lockhart, Texas, she was the daughter of the late William Doss and Ruby Mae (McMillan) Butler. Mrs. Davidson moved to Bartow 6 years ago from Trinity, Texas. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and was a former member of Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church in Trinity and the First Baptist Church of Angleton, Texas. Mrs. Davidson was active in her church. She loved music and reading. She also was a Bartow Chamber of Commerce Diplomat. She is preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Davidson and survived by a loving family that includes two daughters; Karen Tompkins (Don) of Bartow, Alicia Boyd (Rick) of Saint Peters, MO, and a son Tom Davidson (Margaret) of Heath, TX. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 30th from 6 to 7pm at Main Street Baptist Church 1140 East Main Street in Bartow. Memorial services will follow at 7:00pm at the church.
