Bobby "Top" Simpson

Bobby "Top" Simpson, age 77, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born June 15, 1946, in Akron, OH to Harold & Lottie Simpson. Bobby retired from the United States Marine Corps, after 26 years of service. He was a member of South Florida Avenue Church of Christ. After he retired from the Marine Corps, Bobby was a Truck Driver for Mills Transportation. He loved to hunt and go to the shooting range with his family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Simpson of Lakeland, two sons Darren Simpson & wife Angie of Lakeland and Ben Simpson & wife Laura of Bartow, sister Cathy Planin & husband Nick of Lakeland, two granddaughters Morgan Simpson and Jordan Simpson, niece Christy Lane, and his cousin who Bobby considered another sister Jane Copeland & husband Ronald.
