Bobby Ray Smothers

Lakeland - Bobby Smothers, 50, passed away October 2, 2012. Bobby was born February 3, 1962. He was a graduate of Bartow High School and Erskine College. Bobby was devoted to serving his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and his church in many different ways. He served as a deacon at the Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and led their youth group for many years, an Elder at Christ Community Presbyterian Church of Lakeland and a Founding Board member of Geneva Classical Academy. He was a Sales Manager for Allied Aerofoam Products for 8 years and was previously employed by Carpenter Co for 15 years. Bobby was preceded in death by his son Caleb Smothers. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sabrena Smothers of Lakeland. Three Daughters; Nicole Smothers Riley & husband Adam of Bartow, Savannah Smothers of Gainesville and Aubrey Smothers of Lakeland. Son; Nathan Smothers of Lakeland. Sister; Carolyn Archer of Mulberry and brother; Billy Smothers of Cairo, GA. A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held Friday, October 5, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 301 N.
