Bobby Lawson Kersey, age 67, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Valencia Hills Care Center in Lakeland of respiratory failure. Born February 5, 1945 in Crestview, FL, Mrs. Kersey was a resident of Lakeland for many years, moving from Bartow. Mrs. Kersey was survived by two sons: Alan "Neal" Lawson & wife Tina; Mike W. Lawson & wife Paula, both of Lakeland; brother: O.L. Lawson & wife Lorraine of Trenton, NJ; sister: Sibyl Lowell of Lakeland, & two grandsons. Family will receive friends Friday, Febuary 24, 2012, 1:00-2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Graveside Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM in Homeland Cemetery, Homeland, FL.
