Bobby Armstrong

Wauchula- Bobby J. Armstrong, 69, of Wauchula, died Friday, Oct. 26, at his residence in Wauchula. A native of Geneva, AL, Mr. Armstrong lived in Wauchula 5 yrs, moving from Fort Meade. Mr. Armstrong was employed by Estech Phosphate for 28 yrs. & active in central Florida real estate for many years. He attended Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Ft Meade. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 yrs, Hazelene Armstrong. He is survived by his daughter: Glenda Powers of Wauchula; son: Glenn Armstrong of Fort Meade; mother: Ruby Elizabeth Armstrong of Fort Meade; brothers: Bill Armstrong & Rev. Harold Armstrong both of Fort Meade; sister: Sue Tribby of McMinnville, TN; 4 grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, Oct 29, 6-8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
