Bobbie J. Hollis, Sr.

Fort Meade - Bobbie J. Hollis, Sr. age 71, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was born March 5, 1951 in Louisville, MS to Sidney & Bonnie Hollis, Bobbie retired from the US Army after serving in the Vietnam and Desert Storm wars. After retiring from the military he worked as a Truck Driver. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Alton Hollis. Bobbie is survived by his wife of 51 years Kathy Hollis, son Bobby Jack "B.J." Hollis II, daughter Heidi Marcella Hollis, three brothers James Truman Hollis, William Earl Hollis, David Lamar Hollis, two sister Peggy Elaine Hollis Summerlin and Alice Fay Hollis Evans. Granddaughter Hillary Abigail Hollis and great granddaughter Saudi Carnaija McMath. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 2 to 3 pm at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2022 at First Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
