Bob Geiger

Robert P. "Bob" Geiger, age 79, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven.. Born July 1, 1940 in Lake Garfield, FL, Mr. Geiger was a longtime resident of Lake Garfield & Eagle Lake area. Bob was a truck driver in the commerical transport industy for many years. He attended the Wahneta Church of God. Bob is survived by his wife: Margaret Geiger of Eagle Lake; four sons: Alex Geiger, Robert P. Geiger, Jr., Eagle Lake, Chad E. Geiger, Alturas, and Greg Dale (Sonja), Frostproof; two daughters: Deborah Danforth, Eagle Lake and Diane Burgner ([Greg), Lakeland; a sister: Christine Watson (Benny), Bartow,; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2020 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
