Blanca I. Gonzalez-Cruz

Blanca I. Gonzalez-Cruz, age 75, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Bartow. Born September 30, 1941 in Ciales, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Luis Gonzalez-Capblanc and Milagros Rodriguez-Santos. Mrs. Gonzalez-Cruz worked for many years as a seamstress in the textile industry. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son Juan Luis Cruz. Blanca is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, of 57 years, Rogelio Cruz of Bartow, her children: Roger Cruz of Kissimmee, FL, Betsy Cruz of Bartow, FL, her grandchildren: Juan Luis Cruz of Paterson, NJ, Jasmine Rodriguez of Flushing, NY, Roger Cruz, Jr. (Janice) of Bergenfield, NJ, Cynthia Rodriguez of Teaneck, NJ, Jessica Cruz of Kissimmee, FL, Michael Anthony Cruz of also of Paterson , NJ, and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, July 13th at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
