Bartow - Blake Powell, age 33, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his residence in Bartow. Born February 22, 1984 in Lakeland, Blake was a lifelong resident of the Bartow area. He was a sales manager with Florida Distributors in Lakeland for several years, formerly was a grocery manager with Publix Supermarkets for15 years. He is survived by his parents: Kellie M. Martin and Bill Donahue of Bartow and Robert D. and Lynn Powell of Helena, AL; a son: Rylen Blake Powell, Bartow; his companion: Camilla Feagle, Bartow; four brothers: Jared Gandy, Nokomis, FL, Shane Powell (Hilary), Birmingham, AL, Brandon Powell (Kayla), Helena, AL, & Kyle Donahue (Ashley), Lakeland; sister: Aislinn Richards (Austin), Bartow; grandparents: Doris Moore, Lakeland, Larry Monroe, Bartow, Bruster & Judy Powell, Johnsonville, SC and Ed & Janet Stambrosky, Lakeland. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow, funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
