Billy Rex Mclin

Winter Haven- Billy Rex McLin, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Tampa General Hospital of cancer. Born September 27, 1936 in Geneva, Alabama. Mr. McLin has been a resident of Winter Haven since 1945, moving from Alabama. He was the son of the late Dewey Hobson and Eula Jackson McLin. Mr. McLin was a Harvesting Supervisor for Statewide Citrus of Dundee and formerly with Kraft Foods of Lakeland and W.G. Roe of Winter Haven. He was a member of Winter Haven Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Annie "Boots" McLin; three sons; Gary W. McLin and & wife Bonnie of Bartow, Bruce A. McLin of Eagle Lake, Tim R. McLin & wife Wendy of Winter Haven; three sisters; Bonnie Heath & husband Harmon of Winter Haven; Johnnie Stringfellow of Auburndale and Shirley Long of Winter Haven; two grandchildren; Whitney & Nathan McLin both of Winter Haven. Family will receive friends Friday, January 8th from 6-8 pm at Winter Haven Baptist Church, 1500 Dundee Road in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow Saturday, January 9th at 2:00 pm at the church. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
