Billy G. Armstrong

Fort Meade - Billy G. Armstrong, age 89, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born June 26, 1935 in Coffee Springs, AL to Ralph & Ruby Armstrong, Sr. Billy served in the US Army. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator in the phosphate and construction industry. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Fort Meade. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Betty Walker Armstrong and second wife Audrey Branch Armstrong, three bothers Ralph Armstrong, Jr., Bobby Armstrong and Harold Armstrong. Billy is survived by his daughters Barbara Bartle & husband Ed of Silverpoint, TN, Sue Charles & husband Lee of McMinnville, TN, Darlene Jones of Bartow, Tracy Hamil of Bartow and Leann Barwick of Fort Meade, two step-sons Michael Branch & wife Courtney and Todd Branch & wife Jessica both of Lakeland, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
