Bettye J. Williams

Bettye J. Williams, age 82, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home in Bartow. Born July 22, 1935 in Monticello, FL, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Floyd and Martha (Hodge) Jarvis. Mrs. Williams was a Supervisor in the Domestic Relations Department for Polk County and an Acrylic Painter, selling her paintings throughout the state of Florida. Bettye is survived by her husband of 57 years, Hal T. Williams of Bartow, her sons: Kelly V. Williams of Lakeland, Kevin L. Williams (Katrina) of Winter Haven, and three grandchildren: Jared, Tori and Amber. A private graveside service was held in Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
