Betty Jo Wilson

Bartow - Betty Jo Wilson, age 88, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her residence in Bartow. Born June 2, 1932 to Wilmer and Lois Albritton White in Wauchula, FL, Betty Jo was a lifelong resident of Bartow, moving from Tampa. She was an Administrative Secretary with W.R. Grace Phosphate for over 30 years. Betty Jo was a longtime active member and past president of the Bartow Crickette Club. She was a member of Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and former chairman of the Women's Circle 2. Betty Jo was active in the Bible Study Fellowship in Lakeland for several years. She was survived by loving family including her husband: Claude E. Wilson, her daughter: Sara Jane Frendahl of Tampa, a brother: James E. White of Palm Harbor, FL. and several neices and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery, Memorials may be made to Bonclarken Conference Center, 500 Pine Drive, Flat Rock, NC, 28731, or charity of choice.
