Betty Lou Walker

Betty L. Walker, age 85, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Lakeland. Born June 6, 1928 in Port Royal, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Groninger. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and member of Peace Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and painting as hobbies. she is survived by three daughters; Donnice Walker of Bartow, Janice Flowers (Roane) of Bartow, Margie Foreman (David) of Bartow, a son Clayton Walker (Rhonda) of Bartow, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A celebration of life ceremony will be held Wednesday, June 12th at 11:00AM at Peace Creek Baptist Church in Bartow. Burial will take place in Port Royal, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Peace Creek Baptist Church.
