Betty Hodges Villanueva

Bartow - Betty Hodges Villanueva, 84, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013. She was born October 20, 1929 in Sallis, MS, Betty was a resident of Bartow since 1965, moving from Mississippi. She was a Teacher and a member of Bartow First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin & Rilla Hodges. Betty is survived by her husband Luis W Villanueva of Bartow, FL. Son Benjamin A. Villanueva, daughter Vicki Williams, brother Farris Hodges, two sisters Bonnie Lee and Vonda Simpson. Five grandchildren Amy Parkins, Angie Strickland, Heather Scott,Frank Scott, and David Villanueva. Family will receive friends Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Bartow 410 E. Church Street in Bartow. Funeral service will follow Thursday at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
