Betty J. Seay

Betty J. Seay, age 91, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at her home in Connersville. Born February 8, 1928 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Warren U. and Lucy (King) Gaskins. Betty worked for many years as a Social Worker for the Board of County Commissioners of Polk County. She was also a self made cattle rancher for many years. Mrs. Seay was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield. Betty is survived by a loving family that includes her children: David "Mike Seay of Crossville, TN, Johnny Seay (Brenda) of Alturas, Carol Royer of Bartow and Beverly "Kathy" Finley (James) of Kannapolis, NC. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
