Betty Jane (Allen) Johnson Luttrell

Mrs. Betty Jane (Allen) Johnson Luttrell, age 94, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Betty Jane was born February 3, 1931, in Centralia, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Allen and Kathryn Porter Allen. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Robert S. Johnson and Jack Luttrell and her sister, Sue E. Hudson.

Betty was a member of North Lake Baptist Church. She was a member of the FSU Alumni Association. She enjoyed working with the Hospital Auxilliary and also the Extension Homemakers.

Betty is survived by her daughter Barbara J. Johnson and Beverly A. Freeman, four grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica), Gabriele (Matt), Lydia (Luke) and Hannah; five great-grandchildren, Zoe, Isaiah, Levi, Elijah and Lilli; two step-daughters, Dianne (Mike) and Gisele (Ken); six-step-grandchildren, Brantley (Leigh), Jessica (Bryan), McCarty, Kerby (Stephen), Cody, Jared; seven step-great-grandchildren, Eloise, Henry, Wyatt, Luke, Jack, Emilia, and Sophia.

Celebration of Life will be held 3:30 pm Friday, September 26, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Bartow, Florida. There will be a fellowship meal following the service at the church. Betty will be interred in Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, Florida.
