Betty "Doris" Lockwood

Lakeland - Betty "Doris' Lockwood, age 75, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her residence in Lakeland. Born March 2, 1938 in Geneva, AL, Mrs. Lockwood was a resident of Lakeland for several years, moving from Chattanooga, TN. She was a convenience store manager for many years.. Mrs. Lockwood was survived by three daughters: Karen Acosta (Tony), of Lakeland ; Sheila Rene Hall of Dover, FL & Beth Cook or Ontario, CA; one son: Shawn Edward Lockwood of Tennessee; two brothers: Durwood Simmons & Buford Simmons, both of Georgia. 7 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Bartow Church of God.
