Bartow - Betty W. Lambert, 55, died Saturday, Feb 24, 2007, at Bartow Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure. A native of Valdosta GA, Mrs. Lambert was a longtime resident of Bartow. She was a waitress with Mike's Drive-In restaurant in Bartow for many years. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband: Wade R. Lambert, Sr. of Bartow; 2 daugthers: Anita Fitcher of Bradenton; Janet Parkus of Fort Meade; 2 step Sons: Randy Lambert of Lexington, Ky; Mike Lambert of Nicholsville, Ky; step daughter: Lisa Lambert of Lakeland; brother: Robert Hughes of Dalton, Ga; 2 sisters: Paulette Simpson of Bartow; Jennifer Gordy of Kansas; 6 grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, Mar 1, 6-8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
