Betty Lynn Douberly

Betty Lynn Douberly, 83, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at her home in Bartow. Born March 4, 1931 in Gadsden, AL, Mrs. Douberly was a resident of Bartow since 1945, moving from Alabama, She was a member of the Highlands Church of Christ of Lakeland, an avid bowler, former member of the Bartow Junior Women's Club and an avid Gator Fan. Mrs. Douberly is survived her husband of 64 years, Kenneth E. Douberly of Bartow; two sons: Kenneth R. Douberly and Tracy Douberly (Cindy), both of Bartow; a daughter: Rosemary "Lynn" Praay [Tim] of St. Augustine; a brother: Fred Russell of Bartow; a sister: Rosemary Burnett of Ormond Beach, FL, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will follow at at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale.
