Lakeland - Betty A. Card, age 85, passed away on September 30, 2025, at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. She was born on June 22, 1940, in Jacksonville, IL. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for others. She enjoyed going to church, traveling with friends, and cooking. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Card and brother Jay Elridge. She is survived by her sons James Card (Bonnie) of Bartow & Stephen Card (Pam) of Winter Haven, grandchildren Lindsey Powers (Cory) of Winter Haven, Bradley Card (Bayli) of Winter Haven & Megan Baldwin of Winter Haven and 9 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Village Church of God 6 Coleman Road, Winter Haven, FL 33880. Interment will be held at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale.
