Bessie B. Sanders

Mrs. Bessie B. Sanders, age 65, died Saturday, September 26, 2009. Born in July 3, 1944 in Lyons, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Louise Rudd. Mrs. Sanders previously worked for Highland City Packing as a box maker. She is survived by her husband, of 48 years, Wilburn E. Sanders of Lakeland, her daughter Carolyn Powell (David), three sons; James Sanders (Kim), Richard Sanders (Stephanie), and Robert Sanders all of Lakeland. She also leaves behind two brothers; Larry Rudd of Fort Meade, Monroe Rudd of Georgia, two sisters; Mittie Deevers of Bartow, Marthie Williams of Green Cove Springs, twelve grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 1st from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow. Memorial services will follow on Monday October 5th at 6:00pm at Full Gospel Fellowship, 112, 8th Street West in Wahneta.
