Bertha D. Helms

Frostproof - Bertha D. Helms, 66, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Helms was born October 11, 1948 in Wadesville, IN, Mrs. Helms was a Nurse for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her father James Thomas, mother Florence Jenkins Harris and brother Harlin Harris. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Ray Helms, two sons Billy Helms & wife Carole and Wally Helms & wife Wendy. Two daughters Leta Short & husband Russell and Cindy Richman & husband Rob. Two brothers James Thomas and Harold Harris, sister Wanda Darnell and thirteen grandchildren Adina, Moriah, Kaila, Hope, Austin, Lacey M, Tyler, Cody, Leigh-Anne, Lacey, Lindy, Destiny and Brock. Memorial service will be held Sunday August 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Bowling Green First Baptist Church, 4531 US Hwy 17 in Bowling Green, FL. Memorials may be made to St Jude's Children Hospital.
