Benny A. Watson, Sr.

Bartow -Benny A. Watson, Sr. , age 86, passed away on August 10, 2024, at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born on October 28, 1937, in Trenton, FL. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was an Electrical Instrument Technician in the mining industry. He enjoyed fishing, running 5K races, biking and archery. He is survived by his loving family that includes his wife Christine Watson of Bartow, daughters Cindy Sterling (Robert) of Virginia Beach, VA & Jennifer Hunt (David) of Highland City, son Benny "Allen" Watson, Jr. (Tina) of Bartow, sister Myrtice Griffin (Frank) of Center, AL, 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Family will receive friends Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield. Interment will be held at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville.
