Barry A. Loomis

Bartow - Barry A. Loomis, age 47, passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Tampa General from a stroke. Barry was born Sept 22, 1964 in Logan , OH. He worked 24 years for Polk County as a Technical Services Manager. Barry was a faithful member of Life Source Community Church where he loved to teach Children's Church. He was preceded in death by his Mother; Marilyn Loomis and his two Brothers; Robert & Marc Loomis Barry is survived by wife; Lisa Loomis of Bartow, Daughter; Amber Loomis & soon to be husband Matt McTeer of Winter Haven. Son; Jaden Loomis of Bartow. Sister; Dorinda Loomis & Father; Robert Loomis both of Mulberry. Grandchildren; Ansley Loomis & Allyson McTeer all of Winter Haven and Nieces; Kristin, Ashley & Breanna Word. Family will receive friends Tues, February 28, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will be held Wed, February 29, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Willow Oak Cemetery in Mulberry.
