Barry Thomas Helms

Barry Helms, 49, of Bartow, FL, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital. Barry was born July 13, 1967 in Bartow, FL.  He was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Ring Power. Barry's children and grandchildren were his life. He loved spending time with them on his airboat, fishing, hunting and just being together. He was preceded in death by his sister Amy Birchfield. He is survived by his three daughters; Jessica Helms (Ethan), Jennifer Helms (Jake) and Eleni McKee, two sons; Jake Helms (Amanda) and Brad Helms. Sister; Kimberly Roberts (Adam), three brothers; Hoss Jones (Sarah), Michael Helms (Dawn) and Benjamin "Happy" Kilgore. Mom; Pat Jones and Melinda Fink, dad; Jerry Helms and four grandchildren; Mariah, Elliana, Laila and Alan. Memorial service will be at First Baptist Church, 307 East Broadway in Fort Meade at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017.
