Barbara Ellis Terrell

Wellesley, MA - Barbara E. Terrell, age 85, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at a long term nursing home in Wellesley, MA. Born July 26, 1926 in Kingston, TN, Mrs.Terrell was a longtime resident of Bartow, moving to Massachusetts in 2008. She was best known as a school teacher having taught for over 25 years in Tenn., Mich., and Bartow, FL schools. She was also known for her piano playing and teaching Sunday school at Northside Baptist, then as a member of First Baptist Church of Bartow.She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward L. Terrell. Mrs. Terrell is survived by two daughters: Carole Lacy-Carella of Bedford, MA, and Karen Schoelles of Ambler, PA, and three grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday January 27, 2012 from 10-11 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
